Director Jae opens up the music video with some great aerial shots of Detroit during the winter before jumping into the thick of things with Elzhi laying on a bed. The story loosely follows that of the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, shifting between shots of a present-day and a younger Elzhi as he rides his bike with his friends down the street, attends a funeral, and falls in love. Above all, the song is an open letter to the late, great J Dilla. The video winds down with some shots of J Dilla memorabilia in Elzhi’s room and a current day Elzhi waking up, leaving us to wonder if the experiment went according to plan.
Elzhi’s new album, Lead Poison, is available for pre-order now, with an expected release date of March 25.

Video: BJ The Chicago Kid “OMG”
BJ The Chicago Kid recently released his album In My Mind, and now the crooner has released the music video for “OMG” featuring Jay Rock. In the Shawny Ocho-directed video, BJ and Jay Rock are cruising around the L.A. streets trying to make their way to the studio. Before they start their travels, Jay Rock manages to hassle BJ about gas money, which is a funny bit to cut the intensity of the black and white video. The video concludes with a transition into another joint from the singer’s album called “Woman’s World.” Watch the clip above.

Torae returns with the 3rd video "Clap Sh*t Up" from his sophomore album 'Entitled'. Produced by Nottz and featuring an appearance from Phonte (Little Brother/Foreign Exchange) "Clap Sh*t Up" is modern-day hip-hop at its finest.
